Surprise Proposal + Louvre

Soon after booking his trip to Paris, Jonathan had contacted me because he wanted to make his proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower, at the Trocadero. He simply wanted to inform his girlfriend that he had planned a photo session.

I was taking this lovely couple for a few minutes when he decided to propose. You can imagine how surprised she was when she found her” sweetheart” kneeling down, giving her a ring. I like to photograph surprise marriage proposals for it is the best way to get pure spontaneous emotions. Each person reacts differently: surprise, explosion of happiness, tears of joy, amazement, jumps to each other’s neck, kisses...
